Philosophy

Mission Statement:

We believe in nurturing a passion for lifelong discovery and learning.

Our Philosophy:

We believe children should be in a safe, caring, fun environment where both learning and well-being are promoted.

We believe children are individuals and need to learn in their own unique ways. They need opportunities to explore and space to try things out, experiment, and to make mistakes from which they can learn.
We believe we can provide a welcoming environment where families and children feel they belong.
We believe in regular communication with parents and local community to support children and teachers.
We believe in a providing a stimulating environment where children learn through spontaneous play. Teachers extend children within this environment, working with children’s strengths and interests.
We believe that our curriculum is woven through our everyday experiences and reflects the principles of Te Whariki.
